The ant, beetle and ladybug
Magnificent Monday! We had a very good weekend and we feel that we are ready once again to embark on our new journey today. We began our day with a special smile on our faces and we are definitely having fun with our friends again because they welcomed us with such warmth and comfort. Sofia excitedly got
her favorite tiger stuff toy and she went around the classroom while making a roaring sound. Dominik put on his Spiderman costume again and he started telling everyone that he’s Mr. Spidey. He also had some time working on his own construction play. He said that he’s going to make his own house and we liked how he’s able to communicate a lot more now. Yurika, who’s always happy being here, was also helping Dominik to build the house. After a few minutes, she went to the library to get the crocodile stuff toy and 
pretended that she’s making a scary sound. Lisa’s here now and we’re so glad that she is feeling a lot better. She has been out for a week and we missed her so much. She went to the kitchen play area and got some plastic food toys. She likes eating her apples and drinking milk. Mr. Spidey, together with Sofie, sat and waited for their food. Sofie was talking over the phone and she likes
to call up someone every time that she’s being busy in the classroom.
During our circle time, we practiced some of our favorite songs. We always love to show how great we are in singing. Sofie can be the lead singer for she always likes to stand up and dance with the music. After the short practice, we did some memory 
game with our insect friends. We learned that we have the ladybug, bettle and ant on the floor. Our teachers asked us to close our eyes for a short moment and when we opened them again, one insect was missing. Sofie knew that the ant was missing. Kaia was so good in identifying the insects. Nikolas was pretty quiet
in the morning but he learned all the insect names too. It was a very good activity because we had our chance of learning and playing with the insect toys that we have in class.
It’s our gym time today! We are so prepared for another good workout with Miyashita-sensei. First, we did some warm-up routines with him. It is very important to always greet him in the morning to start our 
exercises. We put our hands on top of our heads. We did some animal actions too. Yurika was so cheerful with our exercises because she was able to move and dance around. She loves being active and sometimes her teachers needed to remind her to slow down for a bit. Taiga was showing his interest in doing the different workout routines. He always gave a high-five with 
Miyashita-sensei because he has done well. Rei-chan was also observing and later joined in with the group and she’s also like Yurika who loves to move and so confident with what she can do in the classroom. We did some bear crawl and 
all of us were so happy because Dominik was showing us how to do it the right way. We 
went under Miyashita-sensei’s legs again and pretended that we were trying to pass by the tunnel. It was fun to have this game with him. We had our river game again wherein he put all the mats on the floor, and then he asked us to walk on the mat and jump over the gap.
The sun was so high and we went to the park. We’re so happy that we had the park all to ourselves…well, only for several minutes. We made sure that we put on our sunscreen and mosquito repellent for protection. We tried to
look for some spider webs again and we didn’t see a lot this time. But when we got inside the narrow street that we usually go to, we saw some spider webs in the holes coming from the high walls.
