Sharing makes us happy
Good morning Monday! The Buds are all set for today. Even though we only had a small number but definitely we still have a busy day. Early in the morning, we saw our half-completed task of the Buds village. Lisa went straight to the whole project and investigated it. She saw some small people and various cars. It was also very interesting to see our houses displayed on the road map that we did last week. Lisa took some of the people from the 
village and then she was making sounds as if the people also talking to one another. We liked the cars too. Dominik somehow looked at the village as well. And he was also trying to figure out our village and how it was constructed. On the other side of the room, Sofia was reading some books about the zoo and animals. She seemed to be very enthusiastic with the different animals that she can see from the pictures. Nikolas got the blue helmet again and he started singing and humming lots of tunes for us to hear.
In our circle time, we sang our hello song. Rei was trying her best to sing the song although half of the words were not as clear as they should be but the thought of her singing in tune was simply amazing to be considered for her age. And later on, we discussed a lesson about sharing. We sang The Sharing Song, it went on like this…

After singing the song, we heard the story about a girl and a boy who like to 
play with one another. But sometimes, the boy did not like to share his books with her. And every time, she would ask about it. He would say “no”. Of course, it made the little girl cry. She was sobbing and disheartened by it. Eventually, the boy realized that he didn’t want his best friend to be sad as well. So, instead of not sharing his book with her, he finally told her that he can share his book. And they both had a great time reading and learning new things together. We also learned the square shape. We had a chance of drawing the square one by one. Everyone was so proud of using the whiteboard and the marker to draw a square. We needed a little more practice to make a good square.
It’s our gym time today, and Tanaka-sensei was here again to give us some wonderful exercise routines. First, we did some warm-up exercises. And of course, it was fun to see Rei and Sofia actively participate in the whole exercise routine. We did some good activities for today. Our game was all about stop and go. Tanaka-sensei said that we had to listen when he says “red” and “green”. Red means stop and green means go. We went around in circles and then he would say “red” and then we all needed to stop. We made
another round and Tanaka-sensei said that the bird was coming. We all had to bow our heads down and hide from the bird above. Next, we had to do the same routine until Tanaka-sensei said that the airplane was coming and we had to be careful, so, he said that we needed to bow down again because of the wing of the airplane might bump onto our heads. For the third round, he told us that there was a car coming and we all had to stop and wait for it to pass by. It was very interactive and we moved our bodies and did some work out without even knowing it.
Also, the last activity we had for today was making a big circle. The pancake game is one of our favorite activities every time we play it, we would always have big smiles on our faces. We would always munch and crunch on our pancakes and cookies. And everybody was pretending to be full and we definitely enjoyed every bit of it.
It was also a beautiful day and we went to the park. We only saw a few kids 
and we were all excited to play with the swing and the slides. Kaia happily ran to the slide while she was saying the word, “slide” the whole time. And Lisa was playing with Sayaka most of the time. Maki also went down the slide with Sofia and Rei-chan.
