Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving lunch catered by our loving generous mums and maybe a few dads lent a hand with the cooking too. We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our parents, teachers, friends and family for all they do for us. We are lucky children and we know that we have so much to be grateful for. It is sometimes not so easy for us to find the words to say what we really are thankful for; our teachers think that the list below says just a few things.

Thank you to our parents for:

Their love

Providing a roof over our head and a comfortable bed to sleep in

Taking us to see our families who live in other cities and countries so that we can see them as much as possible

Holding us when we cry and need to be comforted

Making us laugh and doing funny things with us

Knowing who we are and what we need

The food that we eat

Reading us books

Hugging and kissing us when we go to sleep at night

Making our lunch for school and preparing us so that we have all that we need and more each day

Taking us to school

Collecting us from school at the end of the day

Supporting us with all the things that we learn each day and for working together with our teachers at Ohana

Thank you to our teachers for:

Loving and caring for us each day

Keeping us safe at all times

Changing our diapers

Doing fun, interesting things with us at school

Singing songs with us

Making us feel special

Teaching us boundaries

Being there for us whenever we need them

Thank you to our friends for:

Playing and sharing toys

Singing and reading books

Playing musical instruments together

Sleeping quietly at rest time

Helping

Laughing and making it a fun day for everyone

Listening to our needs especially when we say “NO”

Showing compassion when we are sad and crying

Wishing you all a great weekend and our thanks to you are endless!

Love Shelley, Darren, Goh and Kanako
