Wish Upon A Star

Friday April 5th : Wish upon a star!

TGIF!

Good cloudy afternoon buds fam!

This morning we tweaked our play doh recipe to make it even more squishy and pliable, making it even more popular with our friends! Tamara helped us roll some out and shape it into a pizza! N and L assisted in putting on toppings too! Nearby, I and N were hard at work squishing and molding a princess cake together for dessert! SO YUMMY!

On the back activity table, we painted the night sky onto our Earth Day poster! P and Y were very careful to gently paint the deep black onto the poster paper. Nice work!

In the playroom, we had the small legos. N built a replica of Tokyo Tower and then very generously shared his pieces with M and I! Their eyes lit up with excitement and they too began building! D also built a house with Liezel, making space for a big window to look out of! Pretty soon, the playroom was filled with engineers!

Once we cleaned up and sat down for circle time, Brandon and Liezel sang “twinkle twinkle little star” and they gave us our very own shiny stars to dance with! We will also add some shining stars to our Earth Day poster next week! WOOHOO!

After we ate snacks and got ready to go outside, we set off in search again for some sakura trees that were in bloom. T said he wanted to see a BIG tree so we all walked very nicely together through our neighborhood. We saw a huge recyclable truck and were fascinated to also see a garbage smasher truck! So cool! We learned that the avenue through to Roppongi Hills has a beautiful line of them!

Have you seen the sakura trees there?

Have a nice weekend!

Love,

Buds team
